Los Angeles got two nights of pure energy when pop-rap duo Joey Valence & Brae took over The Bellwether on March 6 and 7 for their Hyperyouth – Monster Energy Outbreak Tour stop.
Fresh off the release of their deluxe album Hyperyouth (After Party) on February 27, the duo brought an extended setlist packed with new tracks like “Push the Pipe,” and “Bustamove.” The project builds on chaos and fun of their original HYPERYOUTH album, and the LA crowd was clearly ready for it.
Before the show even began, fans already knew the rules.
And honestly, the crowd followed every single one.
The Bellwether quickly filled with a mix of colorful outfits, high-energy fans, and people ready to dance. The night kicked off with an opening set from detahjae, who brought the energy early with songs from his recent album FLARE, warming up the room for what was about to be nonstop party.
When Joey Valence & Brae finally hit the stage, the energy in the room immediately shifted. Their set flowed seamlessly between songs from HYPERYOUTH and the deluxe After Party release, keeping the momentum high the entire time. Fan favorites like “PUNK TACTICS” and “STARTAFIGHT” had the entire crowd jumping, shouting every lyric back at the stage.
JVB’s music thrives on pure adrenaline. Every track feels built for movement, and the crowd responded exactly how you’d expect. Their playful chemistry on stage and high-speed delivery makes their live show feel chaotic in the best possible way.
